G-Man and I continued to discuss this phenomenon and narrowed it down to the three primary types. I mean the three that we could think of.
The Angelina Jolie: This is the aforementioned relationship hedge where throughout the entire relationship the offending hedger continues to think, "Well, if this doesn't work out I can always adopt an international baby and travel the world."
The Carrie Bradshaw: This is the aforementioned relationship hedge where all throughout the relationship the offending hedger continues to have an inappropriate and emotional dialogue and dialogue with his or her ex.
The Open Relationship: What more can one say? It's the ultimate in endorsed relationship hedges.
